SPACE at The From-Home Fest

Part performance, part hyper-localized, individual, experiential installation art. SPACE is a 10-minute, gently immersive remote event exploring our relationship to the physical spaces around us and wondering how we might connect with those spaces beyond our habits and expectations. Performed live on Zoom, the “immersive” elements are designed such that cameras and chat participation are entirely optional while still being able to experience the piece fully either way. SPACE can be experienced from anywhere you have access to Zoom and are in a space where you can comfortably and safely take 10 minutes to focus on the performance. Even though we’ll be on Zoom, SPACE isn’t really about what’s happening on the screen – it’s about reconnecting with the space outside your screen… Created and performed by Arshan Gailus Stage managed by and co-produced with V.
